Reasons That Computer Pc Gaming is Addictive

There are several factors involved in making computer games addictive. It's a combination of things like graphics, sound, gameplay, character development, and overall gameplay strategy.  While there are many types of computer games that are available today, most of them are based on the principle of having the player go through a sequence of increasingly challenging levels.  By having a set of levels, the game becomes progressively harder, and eventually, the player becomes so interested in reaching the next level that they don't want to quit.  There are a variety of games that are online that are free, and there are many that can be purchased at an affordable price from stores and online retailers.

Sense of Accomplishment

The one thing we seem to have a hard time measuring is mouse jitter and cursor lag. While some of you may have tried to use a device that is perceived to have these problems, the majority of us are not science-minded enough to actually test these devices. That’s where we come in. We have a setup that does just that. It’s a fairly simple process that works surprisingly well, and it may just give you the sense of accomplishment that you’re looking for.

Other Methods of Clicking

The graphic above shows the main components of the click speed test, which is a method of testing accuracy and precision and you can play with the use of mouse or another pointing device. It might not be obvious at first glance, but the click speed test is the same as the "milli-second jitter test".

The purpose of this post is to tell you about other metrics about clicks, other than just the clicks per second.  These other metrics include things like click jitter testing, which is a set of random numbers that show how much variation there is in the clicks per second.  Another metric is the click latency, which is the time that passes between a click and the time that data is sent back to the computer.  This blog is dedicated to providing you with all of the information you need to determine the best way to test your clicks per second so that you can put together the most accurate test possible.
